Angel was a sweetie that I brought to our house to work on her showing skills. We loved her so much that she came to live with us, permanently, for quite a few years. A few years ago, I placed her with an older couple who loved her till her passing the spring of 2008.
Angel wasn't much of a show dog. She earned 9 points but never got far enough to earn her major wins. MiKayla showed Angel for me a few times, especially when we went back in the ring for Winners Bitch. Angel had one litter of puppies, out of Felix, before she was spayed and placed in her final forever home.
Homes for adults just appear, and quite a few are just meant to be. Who am I to be selfish with keeping a dog that I love, when a home opens their heart for an retired adult dog.
