Eyes - clear in January 2009 (will be setting up a new exam for American CERF registry)
First, many thanks to Jaana Hellsten (Leeward Bichon Frise) for allowing Ron to make a stop here in the United States, in his new forever home. Today's date is March 23rd, 2009 and Ron is due in to the USA on Wednesday, March 25th. That next week, I will update this page with additional information.
Ron is a Finnish Champion, earning his final CC at the first possible show, just 2 weeks after his 2 year birthday. Ron is out of Fin CH Leeward's Me Myself and I and Leeward's Best O'The Rest.
Ron will be starting his show career here in the United States, shown by myself. He will also slowly become Kirsten's new Junior Showmanship dog. Look for Ron in a ring near you in the future.
We look forward to Ron's arrival and are anxious to start showing in Bichons again. Being an AKC judge put me in quite a predicament in regards to acquiring a new show Bichon, as those bloodlines that I liked that I would have loved to purchased from, would have been required to not show under me, due to the nature of the rules with AKC. So, I contacted Jaana (who was also the breeder of Leeward's Finnished'N Fab (aka Fia)) to see about acquiring another female Bichon, and here I am, completely in love with a male Bichon that I haven't even touched yet.
